Mikrob Anti-Plague Institute runs both research and production activities. IT produces medical immunobiological preparations and is engaged in collecting strains of pathogenic bacteria. The collection currently contains 9,740 strains of bacteria, and the oldest of them has been under the storage since 1912.

Regional ADL’s representation office in Saratov effected a packaged supply of shutoff and control valves for reconstruction of a boiler house of the institute. The list of equipment included Pregran safety valves, Mankenberg reduction and control valves, Tork solenoid valves, FLT steam traps etc.
