Yarega field is a viscous oil field discovered in 1932. It is located in the central part of the Komi Republic on the Timan Ridge and makes a part of Timan-Pechora oil-and-gas bearing province. The field has been under pilot development since 1935.
In 2012, a decision was made on implementation of a program for intensification of heavy oil production. It was planned to build new facilities and modernize the existing ones. According to Lukoil-Komi, the program for Yarega development includes construction of 14 large facilities, namely, steam-generating units, oil gathering and processing units, water treatment plants, electric power substations for oil gathering and processing units and high-voltage power lines, and Yarega-Ukhta oil pipeline of about 40 km length.
ADL supplied Milton Roy dosing pumps of different series for Yarega oil field. These pumps will be used for chemical water treatment.
